My problem started when I decided to use the web farm framework. I started having all types of configurations issues on secondary servers and now some of them are totally dead.
I'm trying to bring them to live but one weird issue I'm experiencing is that 2.0 applications fails to start with errors like this
The worker process for application pool 'Test' encountered an error 'The configuration section 'tracking' cannot be read because it is missing a section declaration
' trying to read configuration data from file '\\?\C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\CONFIG\machine.config', line number '230'. The data field contains the error code
"Tracking" section is not 2.0 but 4.0 so far I see on the documentation. How could I resolve this issue? I need IIS to use the correct framework to serve applications.
