Formatting the IIS advanced logs file to be Pipe delimited format and qualify the fields with “quotes”

Has anybody ever modified the format of the log files that are generated from the IIS advanced logging module to have the fields pipe delimited in the log file?  Also is there any way to add qualifying quotes around the some of the fields in the log results.

For example the field “ContentPath” is qualified with quotes in the field and BeginRequest-UTC and EndRequest-UTC are not qualified with quotes but the field contains a space between the date and time.  So when you try to import this into a table in a database ect it is delimiting this column.  It would be nice to be able to qualify this with quotes or delimit the file with a | pipe to easily read into other formats.

I see many posts on this topic in this forum where people are running into the exact same issues.  You would think unique column delimiters and qualifying quotes would have been in the design specs for the developers of the IIS Advanced logging module.  It looks like it does some nice features but it does not meet the usability for the advanced users of IIS.  That’s my 2 cents.

Thanks!
