The Web Platform Installer 4.0 provides an exe for download that runs a web install requiring an additional download. This isn't working for me, which is why I'm looking for an MSI file such as was provided for WPI 2 and 3. I am installing in a HyperV VM
and having security issues with file download. There's something going on with my VM and probably corporate internet. It's not just a matter of allowing file downloads, which I've done through Internet Options. Don't know why Microsoft isn't posting the
MSI as they did for earlier versions. Is there someone I could contact?
