I installed WPI2.0 some time ago and haave only just got around to updating it now. Post update when I try open I immediatley get "Web Platform Installer has stopped working". No logs (or WebPlatformInstaller folder) under %localappdata%/Microsoft/..
I've been trying to get this working for several evenings now and short of re-installing my PC I have run out of ideas.
I have uninstalled, re-installed, deleted installation folders and any references in registry to "webplatforminstaller", re-installed again from stand-alone x64 .exe for WPI3.0 and in every single case when I try to open it immediatley fails with "Web Platform
Installer has stopped working."
